Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Animals Filter (“the app”) identifies the animal in a photo and shows information about it. We designed the app to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

Camera & photos

The app requests camera and photo-library permission only so you can capture or choose a picture of a pet to recognize. You choose each image; the app does not browse or upload your photo library on its own.

How recognition works

To identify the animal, the photo you select is sent over a secure connection to AI Rome, our own recognition service, which analyzes the image and returns the description shown in the app. The photo is used only to produce that result and is not stored — neither in the app nor on the server. If no network is available, the app falls back to on-device recognition (Apple Vision) and no image leaves your device.

What we don’t collect

Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled by Apple’s App Store and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We receive only the entitlement status needed to unlock features – not your payment details.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
